Telogen Effluvium is an abnormality of the hair cycle that occurs as a reaction to various physical or mental stresses. The degree of effluvium depends on the duration and exposure of the agent rather than its type. The Telogen Effluvium (TE) is a delayed result of the cycle of the transition of hair from the anagen phase to the telogen phase.
